Ferrari 360 and 430 Spider - LH LEVER - 66958900 - Replacement - Ferrari 360 and 430

OEM Parts 66958900 (Left Side) and 66958800 (Right Side) are parts of the 360 and 430 Spider roof mechanism which suffer from what I consider to be a well known manufacturing defect, as experienced by Sam Crac (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3y8405-nUQ&t=547s).

The issue?
The pin welded to the plate is only "spot" welded to the plate (instead of being fully welded all the way around), leading the weld to crack over time and leading (in my case) to the plate sharp corners coming scratching the roof tonneau and having to respray the tonneau.

Despite this part being cheap to manufacture, original 66958900 (Left Side) and 66958800 (Right Side) parts cost in the region of USD 380 + VAT.

Achievable DIY solution:
While welding the pin back in place is a valid and cheap solution, welding it back at the very precise angle it came from factory can be challenging.

Our Solution: 3D Printed part in stainless steel
We therefore 3D scanned the part, retro-engineered it, and got it 3D printed in stainless steel, leading to a much stronger 1-piece part.

Note:
Please not that our part is NOT the full 66958900 part but only the articulated part. Our part screws in place of the OEM part to the flat bar that comes with OEM part 66958900 and that does not need to be replaced.

Also note that the installation details and the mounted part showed here are for the Right side, but the Right side would be identical (just mirror of each other). If you order this product you will receive the side that you have ordered.
