Ferrari 360 - Radio rear frame holder
In Stock - Print on demand - 48h lead time
The Ferrari 360 OEM Becker radio is held at the back by a plastic prong finding its way in a hole at the back of the radio, helping maintain the radio horizontal and reducing the stress on the front multi-layer composite structure.
Replacing the Becker radio by another 1-Din Unit means the rear of the radio is not supported anymore, leaving all the weight and the stress left to the front composite structure.
The 360 Custom Parts Radio rear frame holder allows to support any 1-Din radio at the rear, hence reducing the stress on the front panel and reducing the risk of cracking over time.
The large openings at the rear of the holder allow to have numerous wires go through them and below the rear supporting bar.
The holder is specifically designed to be inserted through the bottom of the radio console (the ventilation controle module needs to be removed - see picture) with the word "TOP" facing up, and then the 1-Din aluminium frame that comes with the radio can be put in place as intended, but with its back inserted in the, 360 Custom Parts Radio rear frame holder, itself with its peg inserted in the OEM hole at the back.
Our radio holder is 3D Printed in PETG-Carbon-Fiber for improved rigidity. Note that due to the manufacturing process, line marks and support points are visible. Also note that the 1-DIN metallic casing is not provided (usually comes with the head unit).
